Abel, a dairy farmer, invests his wife Hádria’s inheritance in land to secure his family’s future. But a mysterious blight devastates the region, destroying crops and triggering unsettling events. While working at an agro-industrial plant, Hádria becomes drawn to Samael, a newly arrived pilot — the same man with whom her daughter Esther, who dreams of studying nursing, becomes involved. Samael’s presence slowly poisons the family, exposing buried desires and guilt that push them toward collapse. Ruined and haunted by visions, Abel spirals into an existential void, dragging Esther with him as she, now pregnant, begins to question the meaning of bringing new life into a world in ruins.
